Raymond Family Favorite Recipies

October 29, 2009

Hi everybody:

Here are some pictures I took on the road trip (Milwaukee to Gainesville to Cape Coral) with mom and dad. We left Milwaukee Sunday morning Oct 18 and arrived at Mark and Becky's on Monday. Spent two days three nights with the Gainesville Raymond family. I had a ball. It was great to see and talk to Mark and Becky and the kids. Mom and dad where there to go over the plans for the construction for the guest house. Mom, dad, Mark and Becky spent a couple three hours talking to the builder about how the space was going to be used and answered all of their questions. The builder was very open to requests and suggestions for changes. I sure seemed to me that the meeting went very well.

When you see the pictures of the garage it is sometimes hard to visualize the amount of space that it has. The ground floor has about 900 sq ft. and the upstairs guest room has around 250-300 sq ft. So the living space is a pretty good size. Our first home in Homestead was somewhere around 875 to 900 sq ft. and we had 2 bedrooms and 3 kids.!!!

I put captions on the pictures to give you an idea of where each of the areas of the house will be. The areas are labled the way I last heard they would be....things may change however.

In order to see the captions, you may need to make the slide show fill the whole screen (to make the pictures bigger). When you look at the photo player, there is an icon in the upper right hand corner that has a diagonal line drawn thru a monitor screen. This is the full screen button. Click on it and you should get a large version of the picture.

I also took a few pictures of Mark and Becky's new home and have included them in the slide show. It is a beautiful house and my photo's just don't do it justice. I was having a hard time getting everything into the picture. The pictures should give you an idea of how beautiful the house is though. Congratulations to Mark and Becky!!!!!

Hope you enjoy the pictures. Of course I have way more pictures if you would like to see them, just send me an e-mail and I will send even more pictures!!!  :-)

Have a great day!

Life is good!!

 Love to all,

Don
